Congratulations to Jake Menefy, Year 8, on being the recipient of some very significant Surf Lifesaving Awards just prior to the holidays. He received the "Surf Life Saving Excellence Award” together with the “Jack Dearlove MBE Medal" and on his recent trip to Canberra was presented with the "SLSA National Rescue of the Month" for his rescue in April. He got to meet the Prime Minister Mr Malcom Turnbull at the end of the awards. Congratulations Jake on being such a fine ambassador for your sport.
