Emmanuel students were thrilled to be able to complete their Gold Duke of Edinburgh awards in Tasmania earlier this year. The destination was the Walls of Jerusalem National Park where the group spent five days and four nights in a magnificent part of God’s creation. Highlights of the hiking included scenic campsites, misty high mountain lakes surrounded by ancient pines, wet creek crossings, and for this trip, plenty of ‘tent time’ with rain and cold weather. Adventure in beautiful places like this is food for the soul.
