Our commitment to teaching and learning in the Senior School in an encouraging environment is on display every day as young minds are guided with great care by our inspiring teachers who pursue a deep understanding of each student as they explore our dynamic world. Our College community values independent thinking and personal responsibility and we thoughtfully incorporate the Christian Faith, leadership training, personal development programs, sports and excellence in creative arts into our progressive, values-based, relevant, excellent curriculum and to complement the high level academic achievements of our students.
Our beautiful campus has state-of-the-art facilities, including advanced IT and presentation systems, a modern Library, a welcome canteen with covered seating area, gazebos, play and exploration spaces, an authentic historical Chapel with a tranquil garden, a magnificent theatre, swimming pools, sports facilities with a gymnasium, specialised coaching and numerous other unique features to nurture creativity and support our Senior School students in their growth towards independence.
Emmanuel College offers Senior School students a diverse range of opportunities to grow in Faith, Wisdom, Hope, Compassion, Justice, Self-control, Integrity, and Courage. With strong pastoral care, we aspire to the ideals outlined in our Emmanuel College Graduate profile.
We are proud of our students’ outstanding OP results and the achievements of our non-OP students, many of whom pursue school-based apprenticeships. These results reflect a commitment to excellence in an environment that is behaviorally, not academically, selective encouraging staff and students to strive for excellence in both effort and conduct.
We invite you to come and discover how academic excellence is just one aspect of shaping people of character at Emmanuel College.
Dan Miller
Deputy Principal - Head of Senior School
The Emmanuel College Senior School (Years 7–12) is a program built for growth and success. Through our academic, sporting and performing arts curricula, and our leadership, mission and service programs, our students are extensively engaged in their personal growth and pursuit of excellence.
We attribute the success of our students to the first-class teaching of our highly dedicated professional staff, and our students’ own deliberate pursuit of excellence and demonstrated commitment to their studies.
Within the context of the Emmanuel Compass program, students are challenged to become thinking, compassionate and just young people who demonstrate courage and integrity in their relationships with each other and within the broader community.
Pastoral Care
The Emmanuel College pastoral care program is led by our Directors of Student Welfare. It is a comprehensive program, developed with respect for the ages of the students from Prep through to Year 12. Our Pastoral Care program is designed to protect the rights of every individual child.
Christian Life
Chaplaincy is a vital and vibrant part of the spiritual life of Emmanuel College. Our Chaplains minister to the spiritual and practical needs of our community, ensuring our staff, students and families receive the best possible support.
