Our Junior School is a dynamic place where children learn through a broad spectrum of academic subjects, sport, drama and music. Emmanuel College Junior School students learn in a well-resourced and technology-rich environment that aims to satisfy a variety of learning styles. The Emmanuel College Junior School encompasses students in the Early Years (Prep-Year 2) and Junior Years (Years 3-6).
Students are supported with specialist teachers in a variety of areas that cater for their physical, emotional and learning needs. Emmanuel College support our teachers and students with a variety of programs designed for extending the gifted and consolidation for those who may need extra assistance. Students who excel in their academic subjects are catered for in extension classes for mathematics, writing, reading, philosophy and drama.
The Emmanuel College Junior School has a strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy and our academic results speak for themselves with our results substantially above national averages.
Relationships between home and school are extremely important so we seek to create open lines of communication between parents and teachers via newsletters, information nights, student diaries, email access and regular parent interviews.
Our talented teachers work tremendously hard to create dynamic units of work that immerse our students in their learning. They are supported with specialist teachers in a variety of areas that cater for their physical, emotional and learning needs.
